‘Fog of War’ editor killed in hit-and-run

Karen Schmeer, an accomplished editor whose credits include Errol Morris' Fog of War, was struck and killed in a hit-and-run on January 29, 2010. Her work also included Sergio, a documentary for which Schmeer won an editing award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009. She was 39.
