Off the Fence announced today the commission of Running with Wolves by Smithsonian Networks, Animal Planet International, NDR and ORF. The one-hour doc follows wold class athlete and wolf biologist Gundrun Pflueger as she battles a cancerous brain tumor while looking to reunite with a pack of wolves in the Canadian wilderness. The project, shot in HD, looks at the history of wolves in British Columbia and Alberta and is a coproduction with Wild Images.
