ITN Productions hires factual creative director

ITN Production's factual arm has announced the addition of Emma Read to the team as creative director - factual, features & factual entertainment. Read was most recently commissioning editor of factual & features at Sky One where she commissioned programs such as the RTS award winning Brainiac: Science Abuse and Big Ron Manager. Before Sky, Read set up Animal Planet's UK factual commissioning arm and then headed up factual commissioning for Discovery Channel UK and EMEA. In her new role at ITN, Read will report to Philip Armstrong-Dampier, head of factual, factual entertainment & corporate, and will be responsible for growing the business in features and factual entertainment.
