Metan’s ‘Icon’ series becomes a Tianjin TV copro

Metan Development Group has announced that China's Tianjin TV has come on board for its 52-part series Icons. Tianjin TV will coproduce and distribute Metan's upcoming series profiling the world's most celebrated personalities from a number of professional fields. Each episode will be hosted by an expert panel of China's leading authorities from each respective category. Icons is set to air in July 2010 on Tianjin Satellite TV and on Tianjin's Binhai Channel. Metan also holds broadcast rights outside of China for Mandarin-language TV stations, and plans to air the series in the U.S. and other TV markets outside China.
