History's biggest ever TV event, America the Story of Us, has just gotten even bigger, with the announcement of a presidential introduction. President Barack Obama will open the 12-hour series on April 25, with remarks that touch on the turning points of American history and how resilient Americans have remade themselves and the nation to fit larger dreams. A statement from Nancy Dubuc, president & GM of History says, 'It's an honor to launch our new epic series about the making of America with the personal reflections of our President - a leader whose own path marks an important chapter in our nation's ongoing story.'
