MercuryMedia sees sales for ‘Oil Spill’ surge

MercuryMedia International has announced that the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has brought interest to its Oil Spill: The Exxon Valdez Disaster. The Smoking Dogs Films production, which was made for BBC2 last year, looks at the fight between Alaskans and Exxon. Deals have been struck with Danmarks Radio, SVT Sweden, Planet Zifra Poland, History Channels UK and Asia, Al Jazeera Documentary Channel and VTM Belgium.
