UKTV’s comedy channel GOLD has commissioned a one-off special which will feature comedians Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry looking back on their 30-year relationship. The special, ordered by UKTV’s director of entertainment Christian Drobnyk and GOLD channel head Paul Moreton and commissioned by UKTV’s director of commissioning Jane Rogerson, will be produced by Tiger Aspect. Fry and Laurie worked together on British series such as Jeeves and Wooster, A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Blackadder, and the programs for GOLD will see the two reminisce and reveal insights into their friendship and careers. The 1×90-minute doc will air on GOLD this fall.
