Two doc director/producer teams will have the chance to each win $3,000, as Edmonton's Super Channel launches a duo of opps to jump into feature-length docs. The program is open to teams with credits in hour-long television and the two winning projects will each receive the aforementioned money to attend the popular Toronto Documentary Forum at Hot Docs to help develop the project, 15-20 hours of mentorship from a senior doc producer who has experience in feature-length, as well as promo on and through Super Channel. It kicks off in late September and the winners will then work with their assigned mentors to prep for pitching time at TDF in May 2011. The new program follows the success of its Super Catalyst Emerging Screenwriter Award, in which four winners out of 204 submissions took home a similar prize.
