DIY Network has created the role of executive producer of branded entertainment, filled by familiar face at Scripps Networks, Kent Takano. Reporting to Ross Babbit, VP of programming partnerships and special projects, Takano will work with the programming team on ad sales related partnerships and integration and will also create sponsor-integrated series and specials. Takano has held various roles at Scripps since 2001, as VP of original programming for FLN, director of programming at HGTV and director of Scripps Emerging Media.
