DCD Media’s docs commissioned by BBC and More 4

DCD Media has announced the commission of three new documentaries, all executive produced by DCD's arts producer Fiona Morris.

DCD Media has announced the commission of three new documentaries, all executive produced by DCD’s arts producer Fiona Morris. Keith Douglas – A Poet at War is a BBC4 one-hour doc on the life and work of tank engineer and poet Keith Douglas. The film will air late this autumn on Remembrance Day and is produced by DCD-owned Prospect Cymru. The Passion of Port Talbot, a two-part, one-hour doc for BBC Wales also produced by Prospect Cymru, follows actor Michael Sheen as he attempts to pull off a three-day production of The Passion, acted on the Port Talbot streets with the residents as the cast. Lastly, DCD Media has been commissioned for Punchdrunk’s Duchess of Malfi for More 4, following the English National Opera in its first collaboration with the award-winning immersive theater company Punchdrunk. It is produced by DCD-owned West Park Pictures.
