Quail TV heads to MIPCOM

Australian TV prodco Quail TV will be bringing an expanded slate to MIPCOM, including its successful factual series Find My Family, airing on Australia's Seven Network with U.S. and UK productions in the works. Quail TV, now creating entertainment formats thanks to the appointment of Rick Kalowski, to head the new scripted and light entertainment division, is also expanding into branded content, with new venture Quail Content. At MIPCOM, Quail TV will offer exclusive content packages for Pat Farmer's Pole 2 Pole Run event. Taking place in March 2011, the Australian ultra long-distance runner Pat Farmer will attempt to run from the North Pole to the South Pole, raising funds for the Red Cross. Quail Television will be providing live-via-satellite television coverage of every step. Australia's Nine Network has acquired the Australian TV rights
