London-based Pilot Productions will be debuting its new series Ottomans versus Christians at MIPCOM. The HD series, offered in six, two, or three parts, focuses on the 16th century battle between the Ottoman Empire and the Christian empires of Europe. Pilot will also be marking the 15th season of travel series Globe Trekker with a new 13 X 52' season, shot on location in Papua New Guinea Islands, Puerto Rico, Austria and Switzerland, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Tibet, with specials on space, the Spanish Inquisition, and the Indian Diaspora. Globe Trekker has been in production since 1994 and is produced in association with American Public Television and WETA, Travel Channel UK, Voyage France and Discovery Networks. Lastly, Pilot Productions announces a new series, Metropolis - Once and Future City, a series that provides guides to the architecture, design, and style of some of the most recognizable destinations in the world. Metropolis - Once and Future City is available as a six part series (6 x 26') and episodes 'Barcelona', 'Venice', 'Singapore', and 'Syria' are all also available in HD.
