A new indie production company focusing on factual and factual entertainment formats and series has emerged. MillsyMac, launched by former Endemol UK head of reality TV Liz Mills, is already in talks with broadcasters about potential commissions and productions. In a statement, Mills said about launching the prodco, ‘Our focus will be on bringing to life issues and stories that are both relevant and engaging in today’s society, and to tell them in an entertaining, accessible and compelling way.’
During her time at Endemol UK, Mills launched Pet Rescue and The Salon, and as EP at the BBC she ran Crimewatch UK and other factual programs. Additionally, Mills is the founder of the UK training and career development company Top TV Academy and is a mentor for Women in Film and Television.
