Two days after Britain’s Prince William announced his impending nuptials, international distributor DRG has acquired an all-new, one-hour primetime special about Prince William and his bride-to-be Kate Middleton. Produced by ITN Productions for ITV2, Kate and Wills – A Royal Love Story is billed as an ‘up-to-the-minute’ account of the pair’s relationship. It will chronicle the highs and lows of their eight years together, from their meeting while studying at St. Andrews University to their brief break-up and reconciliation and finally their engagement. The special features interviews with Kate’s best friend from school, the couple’s friends from their time at university and Royal expert commentators and observers.
