Sheffield Doc/Fest opens call for submissions

Sheffield Doc/Fest has announced it is open for film submissions for next year's festival, taking place on new dates from June 8-12, 2011.

Sheffield Doc/Fest has announced it is open for film submissions for next year’s festival. The 2012 edition will be the first in the summer for the fest, taking place from June 8-12. The programme, including approximately 120 features, shorts and cross media films from around the world as well as a retrospective spotlight, is divided into thematic strands including Arts Docs and Music Docs, and six award categories: Special Jury Award, Sheffield Innovation Award, Sheffield Green Award, Sheffield Youth Jury Award, Sheffield Student Doc Award, and Sheffield Doc/Fest Audience Award.
