FashionTV to launch hybrid HD and 3D channel

FashionTV has announced at the Asia Television Forum that it will launch Hybrid FashionTV H3D, which will air 23 hours of HD content and one hour in 3D, as part of its plan to launch a full 3D HD channel in Q3 of 2011.

FashionTV has announced at the Asia Television Forum that it will launch Hybrid FashionTV H3D, which will air 23 hours of HD content and one hour in 3D, as part of its plan to launch a full 3D HD channel in Q3 of 2011. Fashion TV is working with its global content distribution partner, RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd, on getting a method of delivering 3D HD content to viewers. Currently Fashion TV has completed filming Milan and Paris fashion weeks in 3D HD and will make over 40 hours per year of content for its FTV HD channel and 3D HD VOD service.
