The New York Times’ Slap Shot blog reveals the excitement from the National Hockey League over the HBO documentary series 24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the NHL Winter Classic, a partnership between the NHL and HBO. The four-episode series is part of the ’24/7′ reality TV franchise, and examines the rivalry between the two teams ahead of the 2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. The series debuted on December 15 and will air again on December 22, 29 and January 5.
