Channel 5 commissions Tigress for “Red Sea Jaws”

A doc on the recent shark attacks at a tourist resort in Egypt is in the works, with Tigress Productions, an Endemol company, producing Red Sea Jaws for UK broadcaster Channel 5.

A doc on the recent shark attacks at a tourist resort in Egypt is in the works, with Tigress Productions, an Endemol company, producing Red Sea Jaws for UK broadcaster Channel 5. The documentary will use eye witness and survivor accounts, testimonies from the doctors who treated them, and forensic experts and shark scientist interviews to tell the tale of the shark attacks that occurred over five days in Sharm el- Sheikh. Red Sea Jaws is available to international broadcasters from Endemol Worldwide Distribution and will be launched at MIPTV 2011.

Andrew Tracy joined Realscreen as associate editor in 2021, following 17 years as managing editor of the award-winning international film magazine Cinema Scope.
