While much of the media spotlight involving WikiLeaks has been firmly fixed on its head, Julian Assange, there is another important figure in the story, Private Bradley Manning, whose alleged activities in providing classified video and documents to the site have placed him in solitary confinement. In February of this year, ABC in Australia ran a special edition of its Four Corners current affairs strand on the Manning situation, featuring interviews with Assange, his former colleague Daniel Domscheit Berg, and Adrian Lamo, the ex-hacker who turned Manning in, as well as commentators such as former U.S. military analyst and the man behind the Pentagon Papers Daniel Ellsberg.
