Banijay International hires DRG’s Burnley

Banijay International has poached the format acquisitions and sales manager at rival distributor DRG for the new role of international sales executive.

Banijay International has poached the format acquisitions and sales manager at rival distributor DRG for the new role of international sales executive.

Luci Burnley will start the new role on May 1, based in London, and will be responsible for Banijay International activities in territories including the UK, Australia and New Zealand. She will report to MD Karoline Spodsberg.

In her role at DRG, Burnley was responsible for format sales for titles such as Don’t Tell the Bride. Prior to joining DRG, she worked at IMG Media.

Spodsberg said Burnley “has a strong reputation and brings onboard some great experience.”
