McClellan, Najarian take over E! News, E! Online

E! Entertainment Television president Suzanne Kolb is handing the oversight of E! News and E! Online to execs Cyndi McClellan and John Najarian.

McClellan, previously president, network strategy, will now also be responsible for E! News in her expanded role, which includes news information programming such as True Hollywood Story, as well as strategic planning, research, acquisitions and scheduling.

Previously, she served as EVP, research and program strategy, Comcast Entertainment Group. She has been with E! since 2002.

Najarian, EVP and GM of digital and business development, is adding strategy and oversight of E! Online to his ongoing management of E!’s mobile, broadband and VOD businesses, as well as business development. Najarian has been with E! since 2001.

McClellan and Najarian both report to Kolb, who previously had direct oversight of E! News and E! Online in her former role as president, marketing, news and online for E! and The Style Network.

The promotions will see Bruce Perlmutter continuing in his role as SVP, news and online, E! and reporting to McClellan and Najarian.
