Bicoastal production company Juma Entertainment (The Singing Bee, Double Xposure) has signed on reality producer Michael Hazan as head of development, West Coast and co-executive producer.

Hazan has previously served as supervising producer of unscripted television series at Krasnow Productions and FremantleMedia, with credits including work on Fremantle’s Hole in the Wall and What Chilli Wants, as well as Juma series The Superstars and Rules of the Game. Juma development execs Alaina Killoch and Dionne Clifton will report to Hazan, who will in turn report to Juma president Robert Horowitz.

Also, long-time Juma senior exec Lewis Fenton will be moving from the West Coast to the company’s East Coast perch, in New Hope, PA, where he will continue to serve as head of production and exec producer.

“The timing for these moves is ideal,” said Horowitz. “With his balanced and extensive background in reality television, Mike is well positioned to craft quality programming that serves the needs of our diverse range of broadcast and cable partners, while extending Juma’s growing reputation for delivering top quality shows on a wide range of budgets.”
