DNI unveiling “My Naked Secret”

Discovery Networks International has ordered a 12-episode series from the makers of Embarrassing Bodies, for TLC International.

Maverick TV’s My Naked Secret (pictured) looks at people hiding an embarrassing secret about their bodies who, with the help of a psychotherapist, reveal what they’ve been living with for years to family and friends.

Each 30-minute episode is part medical observational documentary and part transformational program, says DNI, with TV psychotherapist Anjula Mutanda  (Big Brother, BBC Breakfast) working with each individual.

The series premieres first in Poland on TLC on September 15, and will roll out around the world on TLC and other DNI lifestyle networks.   In the U.S., My Naked Secret will air on Discovery Fit & Health on October 7.

For Discovery Networks International, Jon Sechrist (Cake Boss, Sister Wives) is executive producer and for Maverick TV, Claire Cadman and Charlotte Reid are executive producers.
