Quail TV adds copro partners to “Pitcairn: Paradise Lost”

Foxtel's Crime and Investigation Channel in Australia and TV3 in New Zealand have joined Australian prodco Quail Televisio's docudrama Pitcairn: Paradise Lost as coproducers.

Foxtel’s Crime and Investigation Channel in Australia and TV3 in New Zealand have joined Australian prodco Quail Televisio’s docudrama Pitcairn: Paradise Lost as coproducers.

The two networks have also acquired the broadcast rights at pre-sale for the true-life courtroom thriller, which is currently in development.

Pitcairn: Paradise Lost tells the story of the ritualized abuse of girls on the remote Pitcairn Island and the trial that followed, which made headlines around the world.

Greg Quail, executive producer and founder at Quail Television said: “We are very pleased to partner with Foxtel and TV3, in what is a major step forward for the project as we continue development.”

Rick Kalowski, executive producer and Quail Television’s creative director – scripted added: “Pitcairn: Paradise Lost promises to present the first truly definitive account of this story, providing compelling viewing for audiences around the world”.
