Cisneros Group, CCTV partner on doc exchange

Latin American media organization Cisneros Group of Companies has signed an agreement at NATPE with China Central Television to exchange documentaries.

Latin American media, entertainment and telecommunications organization, Cisneros Group of Companies, has signed an agreement at NATPE with China Central Television to exchange documentaries.

The two entertainment companies will exchange documentaries as a form of cultural exchange. CCTV Documentary Channel will have a dedicated “Latin Week” made up of programming from Cisneros Group’s Venevision International catalog, while Cisneros will secure a pan-regional channel to air throughout Latin America to air documentaries produced by CCTV.

The deal was endorsed at NATPE by Li Jian, president of China International TV Corporation – CITVC, and Miguel Dvorak, president & COO of the Cisneros Group of Companies (pictured).
