Rive Gauche sells “Strange Addiction” into Asia, Holland

California-based distribution company Rive Gauche Television has sold My Strange Addiction (pictured), Operation Repo and Scare Tactics to broadcasters in the Netherlands, Asia, the UK and Canada.

My Strange Addiction, a series on compulsive behavior that airs on TLC in the U.S., has sold to SBS in the Netherlands, TV5 in Finland, TV2 in Norway, D Smart in Turkey, Fox Asia and TrueCorp Thailand. The 20 West Productions show is available as a 28 x 30-minutes series with two hour-long specials.

Elsewhere, Discovery in the UK, Rogers Media in Canada and Vmma in Belguim picked up EGA Productions’ Operation Repo; while Planete in France, Bell Canada and Coign Media in South Korea picked up Scare Tactics, an 83 x 30-minutes series from Hallock Healey Entertainment.

Rive Gauche also sold Sports Disasters and Faces of Earth to Kim Media in South Korea, Life of Jesus to Discovery Poland, Seized & Sold: The Madoff Auction to Viasat in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, and Whacked Out Sports to TV2 in Norway.
