Shed Media US is set to explore the topic of sex in Lifetime’s latest reality series, 7 Days of Sex, set to premiere on April 26.

The show will challenge a married couple each episode to have sex for one week straight in hopes of saving their marriage. The participants will share their emotional journey, as they also go on dates and share fantasies in order to reconnect emotionally.

7 Days of Sex aims to answer the question: Does a healthy sex life equal a healthy marriage?

It will lead directly into the debut of Lifetime’s celebrity interview program The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet.

“Lifetime is about tapping into the lives of women as they are today…bolder, unapologetic and authentic,” said Nancy Dubuc, president and general manager, Lifetime Networks. “7 Days of Sex is a reflection of the challenges in our relationships – balancing time, family, work and trying to achieve real intimacy while being honest and true to ourselves.”

7 Days of Sex is executive produced by Nick Emmerson, Jennifer O’Connell, Dan Peirson, Elizabeth Cook, David Van Taylor and Ali Pomeroy,  and Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Colleen Conway for Lifetime.
