The original game show is being developed as part of a pact between 11 Television and Essential Media and Entertainment, based in Los Angeles, to create original formats across English-speaking TV markets under the Essential 11 Media Group umbrella.

The Alan Thicke game show project is the first under the agreement.

“Creating original entertainment formats in Canada is at the core of our company’s strategy and we are honored to be partnering with such an amazing talent,” 11 Television’s chief creative officer Kevin Healey said in a statement.

“Alan has an outstanding record as a producer, host and actor and we are excited to be working with him,” he added.

11 Television is best known for its Destination Fear comedy prank show for Travel+Escape, the Risky Business investment reality show, and Cover Me Canada, another competition reality series.
