Australian distributor ABC Commercial has picked up global distribution rights to Thai Street Food, a culinary travel show starring chef, restauranteur and cookbook author David Thompson.

Produced by Lance Reynolds Productions, the 13 x 30-minutes series follows Thompson as he talks and cooks with street food vendors in Bangkok, coastal towns and riverside communities, and introduces viewers to the cuisine’s history, most popular dishes and delicacies.

Thompson is best known for his cookbooks Thai Food and Thai Street Food and his London-based Thai restaurant, Nahm. He recently opened a Bangkok-based restaurant under the same name.
