U.S. net TruTV has joined forces with The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) to become a pitch partner for the festival’s 2012 event.
As part of the partnership, TruTV development executives will take pitches during NYTVF Connect at the annual NYTVF, which takes place October 22-27 in lower Manhattan, New York City.
The addition of the U.S. network lifts the number of partners signed up to take pitches from the NYTVF’s class of 2012 Official Artists to seven, each guaranteeing a shot at a development deal for one selected producer and pitch.
Inaugural pitch partners Sundance Channel and Red Arrow International will return, alongside previously reported new partners BIO, Logo, Hasbro Studios and Channel 4.
