Hollywood-based producer/distributor Mance Media has picked up global rights to two series from Toronto-based Microtainment Plus Productions.
Zoo Diaries (74 x 30 minutes), originally airing on The Life Network in Canada, documents the lives of animals in various North American zoos, and the people who work with them. Urban Angels (13 x 30 minutes), meanwhile, follows the doctors who work at St. Michael’s Hospital in downtown Toronto.
“Mance Media is the just the kind of organization we believe can make a success with our shows,” said Garry Blye, CEO of Microtainment Plus Productions. “They are young and hungry, and relentless about pursuing a sale.”
“We are looking forward to a very successful market and the addition of these series to our line up will go a long way towards insuring we reach our goal,” said Mance Media CEO Matthew Mancinelli (pictured).
