UK network Channel 5 is to air two pet-centric documentaries in the coming months.
The World’s Most Pampered Pets is about rich and powerful pets, such as the Queen’s corgis and Barack Obama’s pet dog Bo, while The World’s Biggest Pets (pictured) turns the spotlight large domesticated animals, such as seven-foot-tall dogs and extremely heavy rabbits.
The World’s Most Pampered Pets was produced by Channel 5 Productions with executive producer Paul Crompton, and will air in January.
The World’s Biggest Pets will air at Christmas and was produced by RDF Television with executive producer Will Smith. Both docs were commissioned by Andrew O’Connell, Channel 5′s head of factual, news and current affairs.
