A reality series starring former professional baseball player Pete Rose will begin airing on U.S. cable network TLC on January 14 at 10 p.m.
The six-part Pete Rose: Hits & Mrs. (pictured), details of which were first unveiled in July, will follow the 71-year-old star and his fiancée, former Playboy model Kiana Kim, as they blend their families, prepare for their wedding and tackle the challenge of a long-distance relationship, with Rose living in Las Vegas and Kim living in LA.
The series will also follow Rose – who was banned from baseball for gambling – as he contends with his skeptical older children, who have reservations about his imminent third marriage to a thirty-something woman; shares details of his rise to fame and banning from baseball; and mulls over appealing to the baseball commissioner to be reinstated to the sport.
Pete Rose: Hits & Mrs. is produced for TLC by Creature Films, with Mark Ford and Kevin Lopez serving as executive producers.
