British distributor DCD Rights has acquired the international rights for TLC bridal series I Found the Gown.

Produced by Half Yard Productions, the 26 x 30-minutes series follows Rick and Leslie DeAngelo (pictured), the husband-and-wife proprietors of a Boston-based store specializing in discounted designer wedding gowns, as they travel the country in search of new stock. The series premiered on U.S. cable network TLC last August.

The I Found the Dress deal is one of DCD Rights’ most significant distribution investments since the company secured a deal with its stakeholder Timeweave to create a fund for the acquisition of third-party distribution rights, the distributor said.

Last December, DCD secured the international rights to the Coast Guard franchise, including season three of Coast Guard Alaska and Coast Guard Florida.
