ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has hired BBC Worldwide sales executive Phil Sequeira (pictured) as part of a restructuring of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) sales team.

Sequeira will join the company as a senior sales executive in April. He has been with BBC Worldwide since 2009 where he worked as a sales executive for EMEA territories. Before that he worked in the BBC’s commercial rights department.

ITVS GE also promoted David Wilcox and Jennifer Ebell to VP North West EMEA and VP South East EMEA, respectively. Wilcox’s team will consist of Sequeira and Emily Thompson, who has been upped to sales executive. Ebell’s team comprises senior sales exec André Renaud and sales exec Fabio Etienne-Tinchant.

In a statement, senior VP for EMEA Jayne Redpath said Sequeira’s appointment “completes the restructure of the EMEA sales division, putting us in a strong position as we look to develop new and existing relationships across the region.”
