Scandinavian broadcasters YLE Finland and TV Norge have snapped up fixed-rig and travel docs from Twofour Rights, the distribution arm of Twofour.

James Nesbitt’s Ireland, an 8 x 30-minute series featuring the Irish life, culture and people through the eyes of actor James Nesbitt (pictured above), has sold to YLE Finland.

TV Norge in Norway picked up the fixed rig documentary series The Resort, which aired as the Magaluf Weekender in the UK on ITV2. The series follows young people visiting a resort in Majorca, Spain on their first holiday without their parents.

James Nesbitt’s Ireland visually looks stunning and the series will work well on travel and lifestyle channels globally,” said Twofour Rights’ head of sales, Anthony Appell, who brokered both deals. “The Resort is addictive viewing and a smash hit with the young adult demos on linear and non-linear means.”
