Dogwoof Global has inked a North American sales deal for Fuck For Forest with New York-based The Cinema Guild.

The Cinema Guild, which distributes independent, foreign and documentary films, has acquired the non-theatrical and digital rights to the film.

The doc looks at a charity in Berlin, which sells homemade erotic films on the Internet to raise money for its environmental cause. The film, which played at Hot Docs in Toronto this week, has already had a release in Poland and the UK last month, with a German release set for a June.

The deal was brokered by Ana Vicente of Dogwoof Global, on behalf of producer Pokromskistudio and filmmaker Michal Marczak.

“We’re delighted to bring Michal Marzcak’s smart, provocative documentary Fuck for Forest to cable, digital and mobile platforms across North America,” said Ryan Krivoshey, director of distribution at The Cinema Guild, “and we look forward to working with Dogwoof who share our philosophy and commitment to the distribution of independent film.”
