IAC-owned Electus has entered into a strategic investment deal with Hud:sun Media, which will see the prodco behind Bravo’s Pregnant in Heels and Oxygen’s I’m Having Their Baby develop and produce programming for television, digital and branded content initiatives.

Hud:sun Media, founded by Michael Rourke and advertising holding company MDC Partners, also produced video content for the launches of Condé Nast’s Glamour and GQ channels, and has also produced Style Studio with Rebecca Minkoff for Yahoo, Decoding Style with Nina Garcia with AOL, and launched the digital fashion network Channel 9 for clothing brand Nine West on YouTube.

“Michael’s tremendous work with brands is one of the many driving forces that has allowed him to build Hud:sun Media into a multidimensional content company. He and his team produce premium content that truly resonates with audiences all around the world,” said Chris Grant, CEO of Electus, in a statement. “Hud:sun Media is already a very strong independent player and we believe this partnership makes Hud:sun’s potential limitless.”

“Ben Silverman, Chris Grant, and Drew Buckley have truly created a next generation studio model with great creative content, terrific brand relationships and unparalleled distribution muscle,” added Rourke. “The power and reach of Electus, coupled with the influence and expertise of MDC Partners, gives Hud:sun Media tremendous momentum for the future.”
