Zodiak Rights has picked up the international rights for the finished program and format for Compare Your Life, a factual entertainment series made by True North.

Zodiak will offer the 60-minute format, which stars the former CEO of Confused.com, Carlton Hood (pictured above), as he helps unhappy families become their own boss.

In Compare Your Life, Hood analyzes each family’s value of their current life and using comparison and focusing on the family’s priorities, he creates a shortlist of three suitable routes for them to take. The show launches on Channel 4 in the UK on June 13.

“True North has an excellent team working on Compare Your Life and Carlton is both a complete natural on-screen and a real expert in his field, so the perfect host for the series,” said Alex Brudenell, VP of factual acquisitions and programming for Zodiak Rights. “It’s an original and well-structured format which will strike an optimistic chord that will resonate with viewers worldwide, so we’re delighted to be taking this out to the international market.”
