Talpa exec Diana Buddingh joins FremantleMedia

FremantleMedia has recruited Diana Buddingh (pictured), most recently head of international productions at The Voice creator Talpa Media, as director of global entertainment production, effective October 1.

Diana Buddingh (pictured) has joined FremantleMedia as director of global entertainment production.

Effective October 1, the former Talpa International and Endemol International executive will oversee brand management and the global roll-out of the company’s non-scripted formats including Idol, Got Talent and X Factor. She will work closely with Rob Clark, director of global entertainment development, on key developments and manage all commercial, talent and third party relationships.

As head of international productions for Talpa, Buddingh was responsible for worldwide productions including The VoiceI Love My Country, and The Winner is… Before that she worked for Endemol International to develop and roll out formats including Big BrotherDeal or No Deal, and Star Academy.

She began her career in TV as a producer for John de Mol, producing and developing entertainment shows for the Dutch and German markets.

Buddingh will be based out of London and report to FremantleMedia CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz.
