Keshet International names sales director

Keshet Media Group's distribution and production arm, Keshet International, has named former BBC Worldwide exec Cynthia Kennedy (pictured) as its sales director.

Keshet Media Group’s distribution and production arm, Keshet International (KI), has named former BBC Worldwide exec Cynthia Kennedy as its sales director.

Based in London, she will start immediately and report to Keren Shahar, head of distribution and acquisitions.

As sales director, she will focus on sales covering multiple territories, and joins sales directors Nelly Weber-Feld and Kelly Wright, as well as marketing communications manager Limor Gott-Ronen, who adds sales to her responsibilities.

Previously, Kennedy was BBC Worldwide’s senior sales executive of format licensing, and has also held sales roles at Zodiak Entertainment, Outright Distribution, ID Distribution, Parthenon, A&E Television Network and Channel 4 International.

“Cynthia has excellent relationships with the international broadcast and production community and I have no doubt she will be a great asset to our expanding sales team,” said Shahar.

“Israel is now recognized as a creative hub and a top exporter of formats, and I am very happy that Keshet have asked me to join at such an exciting time in the company’s history,” added Kennedy. “I look forward to working with the KI team and regional offices to bring Keshet’s brands to the widest international audience possible.”
