Oscar-winner Charles Ferguson is set to direct and produce a documentary on Hillary Rodham Clinton (pictured, right) for CNN Films, with a theatrical premiere in 2014 ahead of its TV debut on CNN.

The Inside Job director will take a full look at the professional and personal life of Clinton, who was most recently the U.S. Secretary of State under President Barack Obama (pictured above, left).

She has also been a United States senator for New York, and was America’s First Lady when her husband Bill Clinton was president from 1993 to 2001.

The feature-length, as-yet-untitled documentary is currently in pre-production.

“I am very excited to be making a film about Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose fascinating life and work embody so many of America’s – and the world’s – hopes and challenges,” said Ferguson. “I am delighted and extremely grateful that CNN Films has given me this remarkable opportunity.”
