France’s Sophie Dulac Distribution has acquired Faith Connections (pictured), the latest documentary from Samsara director Pan Nalin, with Swiss rights going to Filmcoopi.

The deals come ahead of the world premiere of the 155-minute film at TIFF in Toronto on Friday (September 6).

Set against the backdrop of the Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering, Faith Connections follows five individual stories throughout the 55 day pilgrimage.

The doc is an India-France coproduction between Junglebook Entertainment and Cite Films, the latter of which is also handling worldwide sales.
