Original Productions is to produce a classic car auction special, History Made Now: Wheels of Fortune, for History in the U.S.

Airing on September 28, the three-hour special will be hosted by Brian Unger and feature Top Gear‘s Rutledge Wood and Tanner Foust, who will provide expert commentary.

History Made Now follows a live auction that will take place on a family farm in Pierce, Nebraska, which features 500 vintage cars from the 1950s to 70s.  Some of the top collectible cars have less than 10 miles on the odometer, and have been collected by a husband and wife team, Ray and Mildred Lambrecht.

This marks the first time the Lambrecht’s have made their collection of cars available to the public and the auction will coincide with live online bidding.

Russ McCarroll serves as executive producer for the special, with Philip D. Segal, Jeff Conroy, Matt Bennett, Tim Mann and Cameron Glendenning serving as executive producers for Original Productions.
