Jonathan Phang boarding new Scripps Int’l series

Jonathan Phang's Gourmet Express, airing on Travel Channel internationally, will see the TV chef and fashion connoisseur boarding some of the world's best-known trains to travel to different culinary hotspots.

Scripps Networks International has commissioned a 6 x 60-minute travel/food hybrid featuring TV chef and fashion maven Jonathan Phang (pictured) for Travel Channel internationally.

Jonathan Phang’s Gourmet Express will follow Phang as he boards some of the world’s best-known trains to travel to different culinary hotspots. Each episode will feature a different journey, including from Venice to London, Paris to Istanbul and Singapore to Bangkok.

The series, to be produced by Argonon-owned Transparent Television, was commissioned by commissioned by Nick Thorogood, senior vice president of content and marketing for Scripps UK and EMEA and commissioning executive Nikki Cooper. It will premiere on Travel Channel internationally in February of next year and then roll out across different global markets via Food Network.
