Cable TV exec Marc Juris is returning to AMC Networks, as the new president and general manager at WE tv.

Juris’ appointment follows the news last week that current WE tv president and general manager Kim Martin is stepping down, but staying on with AMC Networks in an advisory role.

Juris was most recently EVP and COO at the Turner Broadcasting-owned TruTV. He exited the company in May after nearly a decade with the U.S. cable network, where he was part of the development of series such asĀ Hardcore Pawn, Impractical Jokers and Storage Hunters.

Prior to joining TruTV, he held various exec posts at AMC Networks, including SVP of programming and production, EVP and general manager at AMC, and president of AMC’s Fuse Music Network.

“We’re glad to have Marc Juris back at the company,” said AMC Networks COO Ed Carroll, to whom Juris will report, in a statement. “Marc possesses a unique blend of programming and marketing expertise and has a proven track record of growing both brands and ratings.”

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead WE tv at this moment in its evolution, and to rejoin a company that played a major role in launching and shaping my career,” Juris added.
