Zodiak Rights names VP of entertainment

Zodiak Rights has hired Global Agency's head of acquisitions Andrew Sime (pictured) to be its VP of entertainment.

Zodiak Rights has hired Global Agency’s head of acquisitions Andrew Sime (pictured) to be its VP of entertainment.

Sime has served with Global Agency in Amsterdam for the past four years, prior to which he held posts at 2waytraffic and Endemol International.

In his new role, he will focus on working with Zodiak Media group production companies and third party producers to identify and develop formats with international sales potential, and will be responsible for managing the distribution strategy of these titles.

Sime reports to Barnaby Shingleton, Zodiak Rights’ head of entertainment, who said of the new hire: “He comes with a huge amount of experience and knowledge around entertainment formats and I know he’ll contribute very positively to our business moving forward.”
