Zodiak New York has hired Brent Burnette (pictured, left) as SVP of development and promoted Neil Regan to SVP of development and current.

Formerly VP of current series and development for Magilla Entertainment, Burnette will oversee Zodiak New York’s development slate and create character-driven docuseries and original formats as well as adapt the company’s catalog of existing formats for international markets.

His production credits include Undercover BossWife Swap, What Not to Wear and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Regan is formerly Zodiak’s VP of development and current. In his new role, he will develop and manage projects from ideation to execution, as well as oversee the company’s program slate, which includes Risky Listing for Esquire and Hardcore Pawn and Lizard Lick Towing for truTV.

Both will report to chief creative officer Mike Gamson and chief operating officer Sheila Cabano.

“Neil and Brent are experienced producers and fantastic developers – they have a keen eye for talent, deep relationships in the community and over two decades of production experience combined,” Gamson said in a statement.
