Exclusive: Lifetime ready to “Bring It!” in March

The Pilgrim Studios-produced docuseries, premiering on March 5, follows hip-hop majorette troop the Dancing Dolls and their mothers as they prep for competitions, showcases and parades.

A+E Networks’ Lifetime is preparing to strut further into the dance docuseries space with the Pilgrim Studios-produced Bring It!, premiering on March 5.

The eight-episode docuseries follows the Dancing Dolls hip-hop majorette troupe of Jackson, Mississippi, as well as their mothers, as they prep for competitions, parades and showcases. The Dolls, under the tutelage of Dianna “Miss D” Williams, are ages seven to 17.

The premiere will follow the debut of Preachers’ Daughters second season, and is part of Lifetime’s new Wednesday night programming block. The Thinkfactory Media-produced Preachers’ Daughters will air at 9 p.m. EST/PST, and Bring It! follows at 10 p.m. EST/PST.

Bring It! is exec produced by Craig Piligian and Derek W. Wan for Pilgrim, and Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Colleen Conway Grogan for Lifetime.
