Travel sets July air date for “Man Finds Food”

U.S. net Travel Channel is lining up Man Finds Food, a Sharp Entertainment series in which foodie Adam Richman (pictured) seeks out unique and surprising American dishes, to launch in July.

U.S. net Travel Channel is lining up Man Finds Food, a Sharp Entertainment series in which foodie Adam Richman (pictured) seeks out unique and surprising American dishes, to launch in July.

The series, which previously had the working title of Eat Secrets, will premiere on July 2 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.

In addition, Travel is renewing production on a number of series: Atlas Media Corp’s Hotel Impossible is to return for a fifth season, while Optomen Productions’ Monumental Mysteries has been granted a second season its Mysteries at the Museum has landed a seventh season.

“At Travel Channel, our hosts are integral to our success,” said Ross Babbit, Travel Channel’s senior VP of programming and development. “They are seasoned explorers who always know where to go, what to do, and most importantly how to connect with local people and cultures.

“We are bringing back the fan favorites including Bert Kreischer, Anthony Melchiorri, Don Wildman and Andrew Zimmern, while introducing a new series featuring one of America’s favorite foodies, Adam Richman.”
